Bell-to-Bell Cell Phone Policy

Under Administrative Regulation 237.1, students are required to securely store their personal electronic devices in district-issued locking cases from the start of the school day until dismissal. In alignment with Pennsylvania’s statewide student device restrictions scheduled to take effect in 2027, the regulation supports a focused learning environment by minimizing classroom distractions and promoting student engagement. School administrators and staff oversee daily collection, storage, and enforcement procedures, while the district provides locking cases and communicates expectations to students and families annually. Consistent disciplinary procedures are applied for violations or misuse of the storage system.
