Flexible Instruction Day FAQ

The Flexible Instructional Day (FID) application for Charleroi SD has been accepted by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Charleroi SD may implement this program beginning in the 2022 - 2023 school year and may use five (5) FIDs in each of the approved school years. The application is effective for a period of three years, after which, you may choose to reapply.
